Mike Francois was a freak, i wish he could have stayed healthy.. He trains people at metro fitness In columbus & ive competed in his show the last two years. He still has freaky calves its unreal I dnt know if he can or still trains but the calves look rediculous still! He should get more credit I agree! He trains lots of athletes at metro, hes always there..

When you look at that density mass , you know you are watching a guy who's not afraid of heavy weights. You don't have to read just how much weight he used to handle. Really , the bodies of the guys that powerlifted before or during , look very different.

I remember listening to Mike on the "old" radio show talking about his competing days then his illness. He had one of my fav physiques of any pro from any era.

Mike F's offseason diet?
Hey Chris,
do you think Mike developed his ulcerative colitis due to his massive food intake during the offseason? I know that for a time period when he was moving up the ranks at that national level according to achieve mass he was taking in close to 10,000 calories a day. Did you help Mike with his offseason diet at any point.
I met Mike in 1998 at sports nutrition store in Shaumburg, Illinois he was just recovering from his illnesses however he was still in decent shape although he was not massive.. I think he was around 215 or so.. in any case Mike is a class act..very friendly and he spoke to me at in depth about training, nutrition, bodybuilding etc. Over the years I have tried to read all I can about his training styles etc. I recall seeing a picture of him and Dorian Yates both in the offseason training back in Flex...do you recall that? they both did rear lat spread and rear double biceps... and Mike's back overshadowed Dorians...it was clear to see..
I think Steve Colescott interviewed Louie Simmons in one issue of Peak Training and Louie..detailed Mike's training program while he was @ Westside... I recall reading as well that Mike used to do Seated Goodmornings..with some incredible poundage...
I hear that Mike is doing very well in Columbus, Oh.. he has a few kids and looks healthy.

/ Not saying Y or N, but very possible. I have seen multiple guys in Sweden throughout the years develop Colon Irritable, or worse from heavy bb off season food intake. Some can take it, some dont. Same goes for certain oral AAS. I know several whos stomach got bad/even permanently bad, because for whatever reason, they didnt tolerate it.

Dexter
I dont Think Dexter ever weighed 235 lbs in his entire life.To hell with 235lbs on stage....Dexter is a short guy with small joints, and really round muscle belly's...There is one problem with Dexter,,,,,....Dexter is Dexters biggest fan.His ego is bigger then him......
There is nothing more ugly then a man who is as arrogant as he is.Yes he won the Arnold and he won the Olympia, but he didnt walk on water for gods sake.He is not better then any other human being.
Jay Cutler, is a class act he is Confident, quite and polite.
I seen one girl ask to take a picture with Dexter, and her flash wouldnt work, he walked away, and said give me a call when you get a real camera..The girls jaw dropped, and so did everbody else standing there.
Nobody has the right to act that way or to treat people that way
