For me, I took a breather from prep around mid Oct when I finally just couldn't do 3rd show this year. I let it go a little, more over the last couple weeks - interesting how its not as bad if you don't diet but still hit the gym, but let the gym go, and everything starts to sag -- but work has been getting crazy, helped a friend compete over last weekend at the NPC Excaliber (which entailed eating only the food I had w/ me while we waited 6 hrs for his weight group to go on stage, and THEN hitting some killer diners in LA for lunch & dinner, and no gym for nearly a week). So yea, getting a little soft right now.
But... Cabo for new years and leaving in 19 days! So you bet your off-season booty I'm doing my cardio & back on my diet right now! Jan 4, thennnn I can eat!

lol! I hear ya on that one. I gotta be bikini ready come Jan 9-10 so things are being held in check. I am however nowhere near as strict (since comp dieting will start Jan 12 (pushed back a week because of the vball comp) as during pre-contest. I find that since allowing myself enough wiggle room (i.e. NOT feel guilty if i have a cookie or a piece of candy here and there) ive pretty much NO interest in binging or going overboard. Cardio, in any other form except steady state, ive pretty much made a staple of these days, so i think im in better control and in a much better place when compared to last yr. So hell yea i'm gonna enjoy my last few weeks of the off season!

I still have slight DOMs in my hammies from a workout 3 days ago and back DOMs from 2 days ago. Feels so good.

Hey Suz..I started eating every 2 hours but smaller meals and I'm not getting the horrible bloated feeling that I had before. Plus it helps since I'm hypoglycemic. I'm not getting a huge spike anymore. Thanks for helping me out.

Oh, I dunno about that. They kinda make me sad since it was just a short while ago and I don't look that way anymore. I can't stand looking in the mirror and the comp photos remind me of what i lost.
