I don't believe that's true. I'm nothing special. What I've done, anyone can do if they just put their mind to it and stick to it.
You have to remember there's like 8 yrs between pics.You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.

I gotta agree w/ freebird...not just anyone can do it. I really don't think the majority of people are strong enough mentally to do it. You can either switch it on or you can't. Luckily, we have that switch. That makes us awesome!

I need bigger arms and delts. Can someone lend me some in 5 1/2 weeks?
Seriously...I need more delts and biceps. I have about 7 weeks between this show and the next diet round. I know it's not a lot of time. Gimme ideas...You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.

My suggestion:
1. delt and biceps will LOOK bigger with every ounce of fat lost, the seperation between them will be more pronounced, thus look bigger.
2. focus on peaking for biceps, hi cable curls, concentration curls and movements with maximum stretch, incline dumbbell curls. I like to hang off the back of an incline bench and curl, really watch the bicep working.
3. try some band work for delts. finish your workout with some resistance band lateral and rotator work.

More volume, heavier weight that I can handle strictly for 6-10 reps on bis, that's what worked for me. For delts, overall just more volume, heavy presses, hammering side delts w/ anything and everything...drops, supers, forced reps, rest/pause, FST-7. Mine had no choice but to grow.

Never did anything extra for me, but it's worth a shot. You never know until you try. If you do that, I'd go 1 heavy day, 1 lighter day (not light, that's only for periods)...maybe 1 high volume, 1 low volume also.
