    I've added a new trainer to my plan. Not a replacement, an addition. He's a trainer who freelances at PF. I've hired him (although I'm not paying him) to train my mind. Dan is a very Law of Attraction, Create your own Reality type. Intense. Positive. Energetic. I was actually kind of afraid to approach him. I don't know if I can hang. He trains state level wrestlers, football players, soccer, you name it, in addition to every day people. Anyway, Dan and I have very similar beliefs about the Universe and it's laws and our approach to life but Dan lives it 100% better than I do. I asked him to teach me.

    We decided to meet once a week. Remember, I'm training with him to sharpen my mind, my focus, move into positive directions but we're going to do it while he trains me physically. I told him I don't care what we do. It's one hour where I release to Dan and let him call all the shots. He's promised to keep me within my limitations (cardio heart rate and such) but he did promise to take me to my perceived limits and beyond. For today we just talked. He laid ground rules. I set goals. We discussed the first of those goals and then we did some breathing and visualization techniques. Might sound elementary to most but I never really knew anything about visualization, meditation, etc. It was a really moving and powerful experience.

    We meet on Wednesday for a training session. I'm a little skeerd.

    No need for Tums today. Also, ok on the other end. My tummy still feels really swelled and bloated. My boss went home today sick with the same symptoms I had on Friday. Hopefully, I'm over whatever it was.

    I am adding the sugar free metamucil I used last year. That seemed to help keep me regular and healthy.

    you don't need heaps of the stuff. Just a heaped tea spoon morning and night should help and not impact your fat loss, in fact it should help. If you can get straight psylium husk like I had when you were here then that's better but tastes like crap.

    I did not. Post Offices aren't open on Sunday and I was at work from 5am until 6pm tonight. I'll get it out as soon as I can.

    I did only use a tsp this morning. Didn't use any yet tonight. I still have a meal left.

    some times in your training, and i think you already know this, you gotta veto the coach or call an audable (that is a football term GM for changing the play). So in regards to fiber, you know my diet, it is very simple, very measured and precise and no, not massive amounts of fiber. morning carbs and veggies twice a day thou should be enough to keeps things moving properly. however, there might be times when it is not. adding in fiber to your morning and evening might be needed. you can do that. don't add the chewable sugar tablet kind but they have a straight powder with zero sugar. if you need it, you need it. for myself, at times on this diet, i did need a little extra, at other times, I didn't. Same goes for most the other clients on this type of diet. my job is to not manage your entire health, it is to manage your fatloss. If you find that you are having health related issues because of the diet, then we need to make adjustments or add in something or remove somethign etc... or maybe, like I do with my coach, I call an audable. In regards to fiber Erin, if you need more, add some in at breakfast and see how it helps. Personally I think you had a stomach bug but maybe you need more fiber. your symptoms thou (pissing out your ass) would seem to me that fiber was not the issue. that is my take. There are always things on this diet you can point too, where are the EFAs? where is the fiber? why not more carbs? this diet is what it is and it works. are their some more balanced appraoches, maybe, but that is not what I know and how I approach dieting.
