I can't look at animals, especially puppies, that need to be rescued. I wanna rescue all of them. I swear if I ever went to a shelter I wouldn't be able to leave w/out taking them all w/ me.

That's my dream...a dog ranch. Just let them run and play and fill my land with shit!

Leaving for cardio.
Sledge...no puppy adopting until I'm there! If you want a puppy before March you need to bring me over to Oz sooner. You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.

Ha, by the time you get here they'll be trained to attack if you come out of your cupboard at the wrong time.
I'd need 2. 1 dog is not enough.
The funny thing is Roxxy and Tyson were 2 of the ones I was mainly interested in.
I wouldn't go for an older dog unless they were used to boarding. At least with a pup or young dog they can become accustomed to boarding while I'm away at work.

GM my biggest concern about settling my wifes afairs after she died was the placement of her 3 Lhasas. I was moving to Arizona and could not care for them. Little did I know that the kennel where we always boarded them (we called it Dog Camp...huge place with fields to romp in) was also a dog rescue center. The owner had them placed in loving hands the first day. I now donate to Dog Rescue. My son and daughter get their pups from rescue centers.

One of my biggest hurdles in going to Australia is my 13 yr old Shitzu mix, Seamus. He'll be 14 this January. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. He's going deaf now and has dropped a little weight and he's slowed down a little now but other than that he's fine. I'm not sure he could take quarantine and I don't want to leave him at this point in his life.
I'm not much for puppyhood. Sure they're cute but they're so much work. I could totally see myself adopting old dogs, like Baldies. I'd have a hard time passing up 3 old lap dogs. You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.

Seamus is a good doggie.....
Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it.
