I thought Australia and continental US were the same size...but add Alaska in and it almost doubles.

Exactly. Continental USA is a bit bigger than Austrailia but the you have to add in Alaska and Hawaii.

I love that map where they show Alaska laid over top of the lower 48, Alaska takes almost the whole space.

Made another batch of sweet potato fries. This time I just put a good bit of oil in the pan, then added the fries. Upped the temp to 450. Got a much crispier batch. Sprinkled salt after they came out of the oven. Gotta twice bake the other way after they've cooled to crisp them up. I will get this right!

Yep, they are where I am and also the box jellyfish, stingrays and sharks and spiders. I think the only thing we don't have is fires, instead we get floods....

I get cravings for salty foods and thats what I love about vegemite....it kills my cravings!
