I support your position 100% Except, you don't look like a tranny LOL

The wonderful thing about bodybuilding is that you get to design that type of body you want. Your choice to scale it down is great if it give you peace at the end of the day.
There are so many different types of physique from the Bev Francis to the Gladys Portuguese who was very feminine and she was a pro bodybuilder (actually she looked more a like a model).
Design the body you want and if you choose to compete or not do it by your terms and you will be happy. We are all here for you in your corner!
BTW, some of guys go through the same thing and at the end of the day the important thing is being true to ourselves

You choose what is right for you!!
At least it's summer so there should be nice parks and other places to do cardio!
You hardly look a tranny though!!! You have a very womanly attractive figure who can inspire everyone especially those age 35+ ----- not just thin 20-something girls!!!!
I think you've got terrific lifting genetics but if the rock ain't rollin' the band ain't playing this particular gig......I don't think they're scheduled to remove the weights from the gym anytime soon....
What would be really cool is if you could take pics from your summer cardio places - I'm sure anything is more interesting than the elliptical @the gym!!!!!

Yo Schmoe!!!!
-
05-26-2011, 01:33 AM #2886
well I guess if there's such a thing as gi schmoe-ette haha.....I was just trying to say that there's never anything wrong with clean liftin' to the max of one's potential. Girl or guy - trying for that max in the weightroom is just like trying to be one's best in the classroom or with a resume ----- nothing wrong wi' 'dat!!!!!!

Nope. Sorry. I'm going radio silent this time around. I will say there are no shows in my future but I wouldn't rule out a photoshoot.

Random workout post
I haven't been lifting for strength or growth for quite a long time. I didn't today either. I've been doing more with slower reps, squeezing the muscle, high reps until I burn out. Anything to get in the gym and make it fun again.

OK...I'm tired of being a fatass. LOL
Seriously, for every day people I'm not really a fatass but to our world (fitness) I am. I'm spoiled. I want my old lean body back. Enough of this "off season enjoy the summer attitude." Sure, I'm digging the partying and fun but I'm not digging the tight clothes, and thick smooth look. yuck.
I haven't done cardio in months. I lift sporadically. I eat whatever I want. Although that's fine for a short time I need the structure of the fitness lifestyle. So once again, I dust myself off, slip a foot into a stirrup and hike myself back up into the saddle.
I only find myself successful when I have a solid goal to work towards so my first goal is going to be my sister's annual summer party. There's usually about a 100 people coming and going throughout the day. Lot so fun, food, adult beverages, games and music (my sister and her friends are all from the Reading area music scene) It's in August (13th) so that gives me a little under 6 weeks to see what I can accomplish.
I might even start posting again.

Yesterday's stuff...
Chest was super sore yesterday and my delts were pretty achy, too. I was planning on back but realized when I got to the gym that I didn't have my Versa Grrips. My arthritis is flaring too much and I can't possible do back without them. So I did biceps and calves. I'll do back this afternoon.

Food
meal 1 1 egg, 3 whites, 2 slices ww lite toast
meal 2 4 oz turkey burger, lite ww bun, lettuce, tomato, onion plus 1 c broccoli
meal 3 2 scoops whey (pwo)
meal 4 (I use the term meal loosely)1 glass of red wine (about 8pm)
meal 5 (ditto^^) 1 bowl of lucky charms w/milk
I know...wtf at the end of the day. That one glass of wine set off a sweets craving. I did manage to stop the binge though. After that one bowl I went up to my room and watched tv. Didn't let myself go back downstairs where all the evil food is.
Truth is I need to get back out on my own and not live with anyone. Besides, I needing my space, I need no crap food in the house. I gotta work on that plan. You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.

I won't be training today. On Monday night I strained my wrist and it's not healed yet. Better but not 100%. I was at work and needed to show someone how to change a beer keg. The kegs need to go on a shelf that's about 10 inches off the floor. There's a right way to put the kegs up and a wrong way. Right way is to lean the keg back and rock and roll it up to the shelf. Once you get the edge of the keg resting on the shelf you just lift up using the shelf as leverage. I can't be bothered with that, BS, so I use the wrong way and just get a hold of the handles on top of the keg, stand up and with a 1/4 shrug can get it on the shelf (remember I'm short). Kinda like a standing deadlift. Anyway, I was showing a gal who can't lift the kegs and in rocking the keg into place I strained my wrist. I shoulda just lifted it. That right I couldn't lift a full glass of beer. Today I can lift light things but I can't fully supinate my hand (turn it palm up).
Because of that I did legs yesterday but it's not healed enough today to do any upper body stuff.
Ya know the arthritis in my wrist in hands is really becoming a problem. I might have to bite the bullet and go see a doctor. In the meantime, my Versa Gripps save me on back day but I'm thinking maybe I should look into those things Dana Linn Bailey uses.
