F@ck the gym, Im working out at home
So the owners of the gym just raised the price of the membership, plus its really far from my house, so I figure I´d stay home and work out there, anybody done the same or should I bend over....

I have no motivation whatsoever to lift at home. I have to be in a gym or else I lose focus.
Hope it works out well for you.

I just like the gym better because of the people around me. I work out in a hardcore gym, so there are lots and lots of guys that are training hard and the place is not in any way a fitness club. I love it. I couldn't get the same mindset here at home.

Weights are cheap, especially if you find someone who thought they would enjoy it. Second hand and used will get you good stuff. Hell, even new isn't that awful bad.
If you have the room its the way to go. Can get everything worked with a nice cage system, high cable and low cable.
I've never stepped foot into a gym and never will. I figure either having to wait for an exercise, dumbass owners and the amount of 'bros' or 'dudes', I can live without all the fancy machines. Arnold did without them, so can we (if we can help it).
Far as getting in the zone, self motivation my friend. You either have it or don't, but it can be learned.

working out at home is boring, but if you have the right equipment I guess it doesn't matter.

Having equipment at home is great when you are strapped for time.

I like not having to go to the gym and then rush back home to eat or eat cold food. I get to work out with whatever piece of equipment I want and not have to wait. I never was a sociable person in the gyms I went to anyways, so I don't miss the people or atmosphere.

some how the weights seem so much heavier when no one is around.

Workout mostly at home, free weights. In the gym you have to listen to Britney Spears and the likes, yikes. I need some deathmetal to get me going!

I love to workout at home but I need to go back to the gym so I can deadlift and do some leg stuff beyond Squats, Front Squats, and SLDL's.
If I had all the equipment I'd never go to the gym. I can't stand waiting forever for the bench/rack/machine/weight that I need. My uni gym sucks.

I work out at home now, I got tired of seeing people take dumps and walk out the bathroom without washing their hands(when I happen to be in there), then touching all the dumbbells and equip.
I see you dirty mother!@!@!s
Ill just keep adding equipment from craigslist
