I've found that building my own custom pre-workout mix has worked best for me. I use True Protein's custom mix builder. I've played around quite a bit with the ingredients, but some of my staples are; L-Tyrosine, Taurine, Beta Alanine, Caffeine, Citrulline Malate and BCAA. The best part is you can control the exact amounts of each ingredient.

at the end of the day you gotta do what you gotta do. Life gets in the way of everything. If thats the only time you can work and you cant get "normal" sleep, then thats the way its gonna be. Life/family always prevails over anything else. but with that being said, something strong like NOexplode might work for the jolt. if not do what someone said earlier with the caffeine tabs.

I used to start out with a huge ECA stack....I find that I'm better off first thing in the morning whether I have breakfast in me or not.....

I might consider this since family time has thinned out and school and work want to get the best of me! I wake up at 3am every morning to eat anyway!! I dont use ECA except maybe once a year, but that will do the trick. I also mix my chocolate protein with coffee no matter what time I wake up.

I was waking up at 3 am to pick a workout not so long ago . Wasn't that hard but still prefer going to the gym after 3 or 4 meals , I get better workouts in that condition...I was taking Super Pump in those months and hell , did it work , sometimes had to check a vid or two to get motivated also and well , music always helps so much while training. Good luck with your training.
