this is the first gym I ever trained at. it used to be above a ballet studio off park ave in rutherford. great times being a teenage boy, lifting weights then watching all the girls in ballet outfits. been a member at diff times thru several of their moves..... always a great gym.

That is also one of the more famous gyms in the east coast. A lot of competitors have been training there and have done photo shoots and video shoots there.

I really think it's hard core and it is bodybuilder friendly. I mean Bob Bonham allows competitors to train there and has no issues with photo/video shoots.

That gym is truly hardcore.... Great bars... Great racks.... Every machine you can think of. Even the vintage nautilus machines. Dumbells go up to 220 IIRC. They are called "The Colemans" because Ronnie Coleman worked out with them.
That place is a throwback. I live about 20 mins from there and really wanted to renew but unfortunately I am moving to North Carolina.
And I am really having issues finding a hardcore gym near Winston-Salem. I'm really gonna miss S&S.

this is probably one of the best gyms possible.
hardcore enviornment, not a lot of girls, the classic machines from the 80's that are truely one of a kind, plus new equipment, tons of dumbells.
the only thing really that it lacks is an abundance of cardio machines, at least compared to other gyms, but they dont really need a bunch because they don't have 150 chicks there just to do cardio.
bob is just a genuinely good guy and you can tell he cares about his memembers and his gym its not just a business to him...its his life
