    Good to hear.

    You are 100% right about consistency. I don't worry about numbers any more, as I had my time, albeit a long fucking time ago. Damn i'll stop now.

    Anyways, here is me 43 years ago when I started this love of iron, sweaty pits and all. I wasn't always consistent.

    I quit OLY lifting when doing a snatch and it dropped on my head. That's how I ended up so short. So I turned to PowerLifting and at 145lbs. was benching 385 in competition and 490 bouncing off me chest.

    We have our esteemed Hammer, the head of the master's forum, who was pulling big numbers but... age isn't on our side anymore. Be careful.

    I feel more accomplished doing 150b tricep pushdowns for max reps then a deadlift.

    I got 42 reps two weeks ago!!

    I have to agree with you there. When I nailed skulls at 65 x 15 a while back it felt awesome.

    A PR is a PR. Just sayin'.

    If Curt posted up a bench at 95 for 1 or 12 or 20 reps or at any lesser weight and it was a PR we'd all cheer and not out of ridicule. Might not be the same when you've lifted MUCH more as a youngster. To me it is that much more impressive to PR at any lift when you're over 40.
