Thyroid Hormones: T4 - Experienced Feedback
After we all experieced our first AAS cycles, our curiousity sooner or later got the best of us. We started researching and looking around for better, stronger cycles that produced dramatic, sustaining results.
I've used compounds that my body didn't need. I just wanted to experiment and experience a certain drug in order to provide first hand experienced feedback; nonetheless extensive research is needed before fulfilling such experiences.
Most recently, I dug into thyroid hormones. I read and researched about all kinds and decided to experiment. Thyroid hormone T3 was easy to research since everyone loved it and tried it. However, the pussy in me took over and decided to start out with something less risky, T4.
Again, I researched using books, studies and of course the internet and found nothing conclusive. There was absolutely nothing credible about what I've read. So I pulled out William Llewellyn's Anabolic Reference 2008 and started reading about T4. I don't agree with a lot with his ideas, but he was the only one who provided me information that I can work with, including dosing protocols and duration.
I consulted HeavyIron and he told me that T4 would only work if you have pre-existing thyroid problems. Whenever Heavy provides me with advice or information that I don't like to hear, I hate it; but what I hate (and love) the most is that everything he preaches turns out to be true.
I thought about what he said and realized that my metabolism has slowed down. I used to walk around with 9% bodyfat in the off season 2 years ago. Slowly, I've started carrying this unnecessary fat around. Now, I'm up 12% bf in my off season. I've always had a fast metabolism so something might have went wrong.
I went to the pharmacy and bought some Synthroid (T4) and started with 25mcg. I increased 25mcg every 3-4 days up until I reached 175mcg (as of today). I'm planning to go up to 200mcg. I've been on T4 for 24 days. Below are the positive and negative side effects that I've experienced:
Positive:
1) I've regained my old metabolism back.
2) Zero bloating, even after a huge cheat meal.
3) I assimilate nutrients much faster.
4) I could eat a human being 2 hours after my last meal.
5) I take a dump 4-7 times a day. Full fledged dump and no diarrhea.
6) Leaner, harder physique.
Negative:
1) I take a dump 4-7 times a day. This can get annoying with time.
2) My right eye lid twitches. I had this problem a year ago when things were stressful and now its back, but not as serious.
I'm currently chemically enhanced, 600mg of Deca, 600mg of Test Cyp, 50mg of Proviron, 750iu's of HCG twice a week, 1/4 tab of Letro twice a week.
I consume 4,500 calories per day, increasing 500 calories every 4 weeks or as I see fit.

T3 is pretty safe. T4 is very safe.

I used for two cycles , was burning fat but well , you can say it was the clen , ephedrine I was taking also . Took the same latter compunds but with T3 , holy fuck , the shit is the shit. Go with T3 , with education , it should not be a dangerous compound.

MrOxy is right. Without the proper education you can screw up your thyroids.
T4 only served as a stepping stone. I'll up the ante sooner or later with T3.
Any ideas on how long I can run T4? I was planning on 2 months.

Can you describe the bloating you mentioned? I had no idea that bloating could be an indicator of T4 deficiency.

from what i heard from a number of people is to forget T4 and run T3.. the reason some doctors shy away from it is because it can cause damage because it is much stronger.. because of that simply don't over do it.. just do a lower dosage and do not do stupid levels of it and you should be fine..
With that said as far as i know very few people have burned out their thyroid taking T3.. it's possible but very few.. so do proper dosages and you should be fine

Hi nitrous, it's been a while lol. I don't know for sure. I know one of the guys was gearing up for his level 3, which is the Ontario's here, and his thyroid is shut down almost completely. He'll be on prescription drugs for the rest of his life so he doesn't become a lardass. A few other guys just seem to have a really hard time getting lean like they use to. Of course, from what I take from their stories is that they were not immaculate with their scheduling, and fucked up on taking their cytomel on time. I just prefer to stick with cycling clen for 4-6 weeks, and the ECA stack for 4 weeks.

Neither did I.
Before starting the T4, I used to bloat whenever I eat anything above 700 calories. That never happened to me less than 2 years ago, when my metabolism was at its best.
After using T4, I've noticed that my appetite came back. I noticed that my muscles started looking fuller, which I'm assuming means that I'm assimilating the nutrients properly. Moreover, my visits to the toilet increased. Pre-T4, my bathroom visits were a maximum of 3 per day. Now, I'm in there 6-7 times.
I used to consume 1,000 calories less than now when I bloated.
