Man some strong dudes.The pic in my avatar is me squatting six hundred lbs. I almost hate to mention it because it was thirty years ago and I can only do about half that now.Well, a little more than half but you get the picture.Somewhere along the line I started training more and getting weaker.I have cut back my training days now and am following some of the advise I see from you guys.I don`t think I `m to old to learn and I get a lot of inspiration from the posts ya`ll put up. Keep em coming.

I can assume you are in your 50s (unless you were one STRONG teen)...
well I don't even know any 50 year olds at my gym that squat at all! Nevermind 300+

I upped my deadlift to 435 this week.
Really wanting to hit 500 soon.
I love deadlifts, by far my favorite exercise. Feels so good.
I wanna hit a 405 bench but i'm stalling out on bench. Not giving up though.

I'm not a powerlifter but I squatted 110 kgs today (242 lbs) for 6, nice and deep. It's my PR.

Beat my last Pr on deadlift again this week.
Last week my max was 435. Today I did 445. I've upped my max by 40 pounds in a month or so. Fuck yeah.
Today
Bar X 14 warmup
135 X 12
225 X 10
315 X 10
405 X 3
445 X 1
I think since I've been taking my leg workouts seriously for the first time in my life it has helped boost my max. Not to mention I've just started eating right. I've never gotten above 89-90 grams of protien a day but for the past 6 weeks I'm getting about 230 a day.
No steroids. I'm all for juice but I'm a severe hypochodriac and if I took juice I would think I'm going to die. Being a hypochondriac sucks ass. During hardcore training days I get scared thinking I'm going to have a heart attack even though I've been checked out before.
445. Fuck yeah. Can't wait till 500.

gakic (only back and chest days)
l-glutamine
Chain'd out ( about 5-6 scoops throughout a 24 hour period. Can't. Afford more than that)
oh. And I've dropped about 25 pounds in the past 30 days.

A lot of information there, but congrats on that PR. 40lbs in one month is a huge jump, it goes to show what hard training and a solid diet can get you.
