Gym Review - Power Zone Gym (Bangkok, Thailand)
On my way back to Australia I've stopped of for some bodybuilding fun. Here's a little write up and shots of:
Power Zone Gym
Soi 23 Prachasongkroh, Din Dang, Bangkok, Thailand 10400
Power Zone is owned by Khun Sitthi Charoenrith, 5 time Mr. Thailand, 2 time IFBB World Champion, 2 time Mr. Asia, and twice runner-up in the Mr. Universe. This is a hard-core gym with plenty of BB competitors. Many of the guys here have won their division in the Mr Asia contests.
Once you make your way through the typical Bangkok backstreets, you arrive at the entrance to the two story facility. Directly as you walk in you see the numerous trophies and medals of the owner and members of the gym. The walls feature photos of Thailand’s best bodybuilders. Even as you take your pre-workout piss you can marvel at shots of Mr Thailand in his earlier years.
The gym is very well decked out, with everything a serious trainer could need. Prices are very reasonable, I paid 400 Thai Baht for a full weeks membership. There are always a few big guys around with great physiques, very motivating when trying to grow.
After your workout sit down in the Pro Shop and have a protein shake and a very cheap chicken and broccoli meal. What more could you want? If in staying in Bangkok this place is a must for any bodybuilder.www.leighcarmichael.com

12$ for a week's pass-that's good. What are the costs of other things-food, hotel, etc.?

My everyday life is very boring, I just work train and eat. Then I save a plan trips. I like it that way
I've always paid my own way. I don't have much to my name but have had some great experiences.

Good fella, I deffinitely wana be at that point in the future, but I need to get my training certificates and get my business up and running, and I'll be away.
The way I've always looked at it, posessions aren't that important, it's what you do and achieve that is important, and you really are living that life. Way to go lol

While i was in Thailand i trained in Phuket Gym, Patong. It was decent, not as well equipped as the one youve shown pics of but it was good enough. hardest thing was the heat and no air con, god damn ive never sweated so much just from doing a 50 min weight session!
