Was in the valley yesterday. Went to this one. Not bad-nothing exceptional- except dbs going up to 150 and two monsters- 220 lbs- so of course I had to try and one arm row them- and did! Go me! Had fun there. Cool- (well hot) but smallish but fairly hardcore place. ****

Nice work on the 220s! That sort of equipment was created to be LIFTED!

Its funny how we're drawn to things like that. I joined a new gym because they had DBs up to 140 (and was very close to my house). I ventured to the 130s because I'd already lifted to 125 lb prior to my shoulder surgery in late 2008. But of course I HAD to go see if I could pull the 140s. And hellz ya I pulled 'em.

I lifted here on my vacation last year. Great gym! Nice and intimate with a hardcore feel. Tim, the owner is first class and it's one of a few select gyms that allows the use of lifting chalk. My g/f and I would recommend this gym (which is now affiliated with Gorilla Fitness, also in the area) to anybody. Some pics:
