-Deadlift would be awesome.
-Ridiculously weighted pull ups or dips would be pretty fun to watch.
-I think squats would be better than leg press and easier to judge the range of motion. Better yet front squats.
-Barbell Military press at 315 or whatever weight. Behind the next on the smith machine would be cool too but makes me cringe thinking of injuries.
-Deep Hack Squats
-Heavy Skull Crushers.
Okay those are my ideas. And I mentioned it in the Battle of the Bench press thread about doing a total weight lifted ladder system for some lifts like deadlift, squats, bench press that would be pretty simple. It would be good especially for those events that have a lot of entrants or exceptionally freaky strong ones.
You'd have set weight increments to move up to. Then if you don't make it to a certain number or reps at each weight you don't move on to the next round's weight. Then add the number of reps times the weight for each round and get your total and winner.
I think this would be good for deadlifts and squats and such so instead of having someone burn out at just the first weight they'd burn out on reps and then rest and move up to some more ridiculous weight.
Like Ben making the battle go from 315 to 405. It made it way more entertaining and fun to watch. WOW factor moves up exponentially with each weight."If you ever start taking things too seriously, just remember that we are talking monkeys on an organic spaceship flying through the universe." - Joe Rogan
