My Attempt at being a Hero

Yesterday was a long, hectic and stressful day at work. I left at 9pm exhausted. I went down to the building's garage/parking area and turned on the ignition of my jeep, waiting a good 5-10 minutes for it to heat up so that I can leave.

10 ft away, I saw a man and a woman running around laughing. The man was chasing her around a car and she was running away; again both of them laughing. Since the garage was in a basement, my iPhone had no signal in order for me to check personal emails and RX Muscle posts. I had no choice but to look at both of them running around laughing.

The women suddenly stops, puts both of her hands on the man's shoulders and whispers something in his ear. He takes two steps back, looks at her in confusion while she's smiling and all of a sudden he slaps her! She runs back to her car and he follows her and she tries to close the door but fails. The guy opens the door and starts to punch her ENDLESSLY!

This was all 10ft away and I was shocked as hell to see a man punching the living crap out of a woman! She moves back to avoid his punches then he starts kicking her face! He drags her out of the car from her hair, still punching her face and kicking her!

He lines her up in a way that looks like he's about to knee her, so I FINALLY come to my senses and do something about this. I leave my car and shout out loudly for him to stop. He takes a look at me and says "it's none of your business. She's my wife," then BOOM! He knees her on the face! She didn't even say OUCH!

I look in shock and approach him aggressively pulling the guy back. I manage to hold him and push him away from her knocking him off his feet. I look at her face, which is covered in blood so I try helping her up to get to her car.

Everything that happened above is completely normal in comparison to what I have to say now: she tells me to go fuck myself. I look at her in utter confusion and tell her to repeat what she said. Sadly, she tells me again to go fuck myself and mind my own business.

I walk back to my car, looking at both of them and the guy runs back to her and starts to beat her all over again.

Back in my early twenties, my buddy Vance and I would always seem to get in the middle of situations like this in clubs. One time, a guy smacked his girlfriend and she was down on one knee while he was grabbing her throat. I rushed in between them and pushed the guy back. Before I knew it the girl had jumped up on my back and was clawing like a cat trying to scratch my face. My friend pulled her off of me, which is good because I was weighing the options of "lose an eye versus punch a girl I was trying to help."

Girls seems to stand by their man, no matter what a piece of shit he is. Good for you for trying to do the right thing. I hope you do the same thing if you ever see it again.

Personally, no matter how annoying a female can get, I'd never resort to violence. IMO, a man loses self-respect and dignity once he resorts to that.

And yes, I would do the exact same thing if that ever happened again.

Dude, it was like Wolverine's PMSing daughter trying to take my eyes out. If my friend hadn't come along and yanked her off from the back, I would have had to, at the very least, try to scrape her off on the wall or something.

Unless that happens, or a woman pulls some sort of weapon on you then yes, violence is always the answer.

It's a very sick and unfortunate mental state these women muct be in to not only stay with someone that would hit them but to defend that action when someone tries to help them, as though they have been taught that they deserve it by some sick sonuvabitch.

I used to do some outreach work at a place called Tempura House, it was a home for lightly-battered women.

You're right. These women are usually so emotionally abused and have such low self esteem that they actually think they deserve it.

I'm guessing they might feel emotionally insecure or don't have anyone else to fall on.
When you don't have close friends and family, your obliged to put up and shut up. I'm saying this because I have met women who fall into that category.

They tend to be extremely emotionally attached and needy; and they'll do whatever you ask them too.

I'd almost feel sorry for any guy stupid enough to try and hit you - except he'd deserve everything he got!

I did have a bf who shoved me once. Once. He was tall and skinny..and drunk at the time. I shoved him back...hard. It was kinda funny watching him slide backwards across the hardwood floor of my living room on his arse.
