    Default Steppin away from keto.

    Yea so i did keto for a month and i decided to just switch it up, honestly i like keto but for some reason i think my body can do good with some carbs.

    I decided to go back to how i use to diet, what do you guys think?

    Meal 1(pre workout)- 1/2 cup oats with 6oz chicken breast

    Meal 2-(post workout)- i was doing a shake, but i rather just eat whole food when dieting so im doin the 1/2 cup oats with 6oz breast again.

    Meal 3- 2 whole eggs 10 egg whites with 1/2 cup oats

    Meal 4- 1/2 cup green beans or asparagus with 6oz white fish(usually tilapia) and 1oz raw almonds

    Meal 5- Similar to meal 4, maybe chicken breast again lol instead of the fish

    Meal 6- Only 6oz breast and the almonds

    I know im eating mostly chicken breast but i dont mind it. Do you guys think its worth it to keep the almonds in all of the last 3 meals with no carbs? Or should i do maybe the last meal only protein Veggie?? any input would help.

    Oh and i weigh 190 at bout 13% bf Thanks.

    Sounds to me like your trying to cut? Is this correct? If so, if this were ME, my protien would be higher for sure. But everyone is different. your carbs look a little low.

    Meal 3 8 oz chicken breast (or tilapia or cod) and 1/3 cup of brown rice
    Meal 4 8 oz chicken breast (or tilapia or cod) and salad (dry or with oil and vinegar only)
    Meal 5 (post workout)Protein shake - 50 grams of whey protein and 5 grams of glutamine.
    Meal 6 8 oz chicken breast (or tilapia or cod) and salad (dry or with oil and vinegar only)

    thats the diet I'm following now. I'm 200lbs about 10-12% I liek keto much better. My energy is depleted by the end of the day on this diet and I'm hungry most of the day.

    I'm 260 and 80 pounds of it pure fat with the rest muscle. I take in good protein but I know nothing about the right amounts and timings.

    a 940 calories breakfast lol thats insane for dieting at only 200 lbs, lol ur actually losing weight on that diet/??

    Keto is intense bro, there is no shame in realigning what works best for you. How much longer are you gonna be dieting if you are already at 13%. IMO... A few weeks more of keto and that number(BF%) wouldnt even exist any more. Good luck man

    i plan to do 12 more weeks actually, yeaa keto is pretty intense, i can deff handle it thou i just know for some reason that over the few years of dieting and bulking that my body can do good with a lil carbs, i feel better and my lifting is stronger.

    Start adding slowly your carbs on your pre or pwo meal and breakfast.

    Sorry it 6 eggs so it about 700 calories total. I didn't design the diet I'm doing a transformation challenge for animalpak.com. I'm not a big fan of it but I'm trying to ride it out. I've lost about 12 pound in two months

    I see...

    Im debating on removing all fat sources like almonds from my diet. I go look back at when i use to diet in the begining and i would always get better results when i follwed more of a protein carb diet.

    I use to follow a diet similar to this

    Dennis james doesnt eat any fat, yea i know hes takin slin, hgh etce tc. thats not the point, the point is alot of bodybuilders i know follow this kinda diet and get good results.
    I feel like the fats just slow down the fat loss, cuz once i remove them i start gettin leaner, what do you guys think?

    If your 13% you need to bring that down i would cycle carbs or stay on keto.

    You can play around with things when your 7-10% BF... Im doing keto to get down just make sure you do your carb up right . Ill keep my size on keto. If you follow it right it works great
