James am I correct in saying that the only lift you don't hit scary numbers on is bench....correct? I know you are about the strongest man alive at weighted dips. Strange how bench does not follow. However bench is not a Bodybuilding thing in any event.

Bill, yeah my bench sucks. I don't really do flat benches anymore, only when I get a bug up my butt. I got 350 before, but not sure what it would be now. I'd need great spotters, not thrilled about getting stuck under 400 lbs. I'm kind of built like the anti- Franco, 80" reach, wider rather than rounder My overhead press isn't great either. Though I do ok on the plate loading press machines. Never did get a good power clean either, long arms again and no fucking rhythm- darn Swedish genes, lol. Front squats were a problem to- getting and hold a heavy weight in position is agony- I think I have shoulder issues... ha. I'm really good at pressing DOWN though.

Oh Mike, sorry. Missed your post. Thank you! But to be honest, my strength has nothing to do with bulk. I'm waaaaay stonger now at 254 ish than I was when I was 285 ish at age 36. Much stronger. The 'secret' isn't bulk, calories, etc. It's WILL. I started out not real strong, tall and lean. HATED IT. I have literally forced- willed myself to get stronger over the years. And I fought like hell to do it. Sacrficed. You can too. You've got a good bone structure and muscle bellies. Just push- Hard.

Yeah, I am a born puller, can't push for shit. I have trouble shoulder pressing 125, or benching 205, or squatting 265, but I can pull 405 2-3 reps.

Still waiting on Ricks joke! Yeah Mike I feel you. At 35, I was pulling like Dave Draper, but could have been outpressed by Frank Zane. Not on legs, I can push a lot, its only on compound upper body pressing moves that involve rotation of the shoulder. Not laterals or flyes, can do 100's and 130's though I'm not doing those at the moment. Too scary, lol. Speaking of scary, today I put fear in a couple people, lol, had an awesome workout! Strong- 7 PR's out of 7 working sets. Was very intense, had good focus! Woke up this morning looking noticibly WIDER, starting to resemble an airplane, lol. My wife even said "jeeez, look at your lats from the front, they stick out" I'm thinking this is a VERY good thing. Especially since I'm so tall. BW was 253 before workout, trained early on a small amount of food only.

When I see James on the 27th I will have a good camera with me for pics...perhaps a video. This is early enough warning for him to shave his wooly pits, trim his eyebrows, pluck his nose hairs and brush his teeth.
