Hide is making his move! I picked Alves for the win, but with this Jay Culter cut, Yamagishi may have it!
Have you seen this?
Yamagishi...
decided to try devising his own contest-prep plans in 2009, placing 2nd at both the Orlando Pro and Atlantic City Pro. This year, he hooked up with Canadian bodybuilder/trainer Eric DiLauro.
"He's been training with me for the last five weeks," says DiLauro. "He saw how I helped Jay Cutler for the last four years and said he wanted the same kind of intensity. I've never seen [Yamagishi] train so hard, so I think he has a very good chance of being in the Top 3."
Andrew Oye's verdict: DiLauro says Yamigishi has been focusing on hamstrings, back depth and overall thickness. To challenge bigger guys like Toney Freeman and Quincy Taylor, shredded conditioning will be key for Yamagishi.
