the anti aging community and compounding pharmacist have been using injectable amino acids for a little while now. I just had this conversation with a pharmacist in Las Vegas at the A4M 17th Annual World Congress. WHY?? Amino Acids appear in the blood stream pretty quickly and at a high rate after ingestion so why inject them?
If I was gonna inject ANY amino acid it would be Leucine.. and even that appears to be a waste. AA's seem to be highly bio-available via the digestive track. Unless one has a localized effect which some may.. why are you wanting to inject it?

I think i remember hearing from anthony almada owner of Genr8 that 'L-Carnitine is poorly absorbed by our bodies in oral form,' so injecting it would probably be the best way to take in L-Carnitine. I also herd him say that he's working on a supplement that contains L-Carnitine but uses his Genr8 product Vitargo in conjunction.

Injectable carnitine isn't really well thought out. To get an efficacious dose it would require quite a large shot with the carnitine disolved in bacteriostatic water. Just get some carnitine l-tartrate (2 grams) and take it preworkout or split the dose in single grams with breakfast and lunch. It's not really going to potentiate as much fat loss as it would slow down the effect BCKA dehydrogenase in the break down of BCAA's in skeletal muscle. Basically, it will shift the utilization of fatty acids as an energy source as opposed to BCAA more efficiently. It will also help regulate TSH levels if you're on thyroidals.

An old post I know but do you have any idea where to find dat's info on l-car? Made some up ages ago (when his forum was still active) and wanting to do it again but need to do some re-reading first. Annoyingly I never had an account on there, just read and read and then the site shutdown :/
