    Default So Called "Powerbuilding"???

Do you see "powerbuilding" as a legit goal to reach reasonable goals for powerlifting and bodybuilding (non competitive)? or do you think it is just another "made up" term?

If so, give me some examples of what you would consider a legit "powerbuilding" routine.

I think its stupid, i would pick 1 thing you want to do and stick to it. Why not give your all to the one goal you want to achieve???

I can see it as a legit goal to reach good levels in both sports. G Diesel from Animal Pak is a good example. He's fairly strong and a big dude.

Although a stronger muscle isn't always a larger muscle I do think the best way to build mass is to train for strength.

I typically pick 3-5 solid exercises for each muscle group and I do anywhere from 4 to 12 reps per exercise.

A typical chest workout might look like this: barbell bench press 2-3 sets of 4 reps, smith incline press 2-3 sets of 6-8 reps, cable crossovers 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps.

Do both so you can say " I powerlift and bodybuild" saying you are a powerbuilder is sloppy like saying you are a blaxican. Own what you are! If you do both be proud.
