Diet questions...Looking for advice..
Ive got a few questions...and im looking to see people's opinion on the matter.
Ive been on a keto diet. Pretty much Palumbo's diet except a few tinkers here and there to
fit more of my lifestyle.
Im...6'2..205 pounds...Ive dieted down from 260..Train 5 days a week..and 4 days of minimum
20 mins of cardio.
This is the diet:
Meal 1- 5 whole omega 3 eggs
Meal 2- 50g shake ( Myofusion ) + 1 tbls Macademian nut oil
Meal 3- 7oz chicken breast or 7oz tilapia + 1oz almonds
Meal 4- 50g shake ( Myofusion ) + 1 tbls Macademian nut oil ( Pre-workout )
Meal 5- 50g shake ( Myofusion ) + 10g creatine mono
Meal 6- 7oz steak or 7oz Salmon + 1 cup of salad
Ok..two things..the diet states 5 whole eggs and 4 egg whites...but i personally cannot consume
that many eggs...sorry, Ive really tried....lol...Number 2...I KNOW ur supposed to use an Isolate but i had over 25 pounds of Myo and
that was all i had to use. I replaced the 2 tbls of peanut butter with the mac oil to
not go over on the carbs, since im using myofusion which gives 10 grams of carbs for 2 scoops. 3 shakes a day = 30 grams + the sugars,
and then there's the almonds...which give carbs too...so
Here are the questions...
1. Following this diet to a T...am i in ketosis? Does the sugar and the carb content in myo
preventing me from getting to ketosis?
2. Ive been losing steady weight.. but if im not in ketosis...what do i need to change for me to be in ketosis?
3. Ive been planning a H-drol Recomp cycle...can i use this diet for the cycle and still produce the results im goin for? For PCT
do i need to up my calories and if so how much?
Sorry for all the questions...but i would greatly appreciate all the input you guys can give...Thanks again...

a very easy way to consume those eggs is to make pancakes with them. Check the keto thread for it. It's a sticky.
The recipe is
the eggs/whites
4 tsp of benefiber
1/2 tsp baking soda
blender
pour and flip using a large skillet with a sharp crease on the edge.
Use Walden Farms maple syrup.
1) I believe you'd be in ketosis.
2) Why are so hellbent on ketosis? Certain points of the day are in ketosis, while some are not. As long as you've done the homework and followed his formula, you'll lose weight. At least 1.2g x LBM (lean body mass) for protein, and 0.5g x LBM for fat. You get 30g of indirect carbs a day.
3) I'd suggest doing a carb rotation when doing a recomp. As for PCT, Use a Post Cycle tablet mix. No need for major PCTs since Hdrol is not a strong PH.

What's the carb count in the myofusion? (half your luck! I wouldnt complain about having myofusion lol).
If you cant consume the food quantities or the frequency..Don't despair, you're not alone... just suck it up, sometimes that's what you gotta do.. I do a dozen at a time, it's not cake but it will put on muscle.
Wether your in ketosis or not, I don't know? Tell me how much carbs your getting in but generally if your consuming under 30-40g per day (not counting the trace amounts found in your fats/protein..
What the feck are you complaining about anyway? the diet is working, you've lost 55lbs.

Well, do you know by caliper measurement how lean you really are? Even a Tanita handlheld can offer a roughshod estimate to your caloric expenditure. After you get the bf%, give it to me and I can doublecheck your work.
If you're using keto strips-throw them out. Theyre more of a mindfuck than a useful tool. Use a weekly waist measurement and the mirror.
