So confused on Post WORKOUT
What is everyones take on it...i recently read that that GH levels are very high after working out and stay high for up to 35 minutes after and if one ingests any simple carbs you stop the GH being released. So there are many schools of thought on this. Either whey/simple carbs as soon as your done lifitng, or whey as soon as your done lifting then simple carbs 40 mins later to replenish glycogen or just whey after lifting then whole food meal an hour after that? whats everyones take?

cause im dieting i just do whey after training on its own, and eat my carbs an hour later with protein
i dont want any simple sugars in me when dieting

i use 50mg waxy maze and 50 mg whey isolate(nectar unflavored) w/40mcg of IGF-Long r3 in the area worked.Now thats based on a 5'9' 240lb body,so you will have to research whats best for your wieght!

I do the 40g fast carbs vitargo, nd 60g whey isolate when bulking.
When dieting i do just 1/2 cup oats in the shaker wit 60 grams whey isolate.

well they way i do my post workout is i drink one scoop of whey right when im done training and then i have a whole food meal 45min to an hour later. i've been doing that for years now and it seems to be working for me so i keep doing it. try different ways and see which one works for you man. good luck
