We are still waiting for some info. John just told us he's a guy to watch out for. But can we know stuff like his nationality? How did he wind up in Holland? Did he start working out last year? Lol. And why did he choose to pose to a song announcing to the world he gave up his life and family for a girl he don't want to be bothered with anymore?

Perhaps the homies down under can help us out.

He's been training for 7 years.

He's from a small island in the Carribbean (wow...sp on that).

I can't really recall how he met the older lady that trains him, but they call her "Grandma". Who trains both him and his brother who is an amateur.

He met Dexter Jackson at one point, who arrogantly and disrespectfully told Roelly that he was going to turn pro. Because Dexter is a dick like that.

He took third at the Austrailian show and will be at the 2010 Olympia (very likely anyway, as he wanted to qualify for the show at the Arnold, narrowly missing it placing 7th).

And, I can't be sure, but I feel you're reading too much into that song. lol.

He's from the Dutch Antilles, not The Netherlands directly.

I remember reading in the other thread about him a few days ago that he's 32. He started training pretty late compared to most IFBB pros.

I'm unsure about what dexter said, but after meeting him this weekend I get the idea people are just hating on him for the sake of hating. He was a cool ass dude. After speaking with him today he said he was going to do the ny pro, then concentrate on the olympia. I think he said something like he was like 90kg, dropped 20kg from either a car crash or being sick and he hated it so he started putting on size. good bloke, joked a bit even though he was practically falling asleep in his chair

Carolyn: Roelly is from Curacao, Dutch Antilles, started training 6 or 7 years ago, had a motorcycle accident (scar on his abs and right inner arm).
He has 3 children and the name of his first child (son) is tattood on his abs.

He is training in Holland because his trainer "oma" (grandma) is living there and he offered him to train under her.

He won the ASC Amateur last year and therefore got invited at the ASC Pros for this year IF he would qualify for a procard at his national federation (which is Holland)
His federation granted him the pro card and he entered the ASC Pro succesful instead of using the old excuse of "not ready yet", "put on some more mass" etc

Anything else?

Now we are getting somewhere. He resembles Will Harris. Too bad he don't have Will's back. Trained by a woman? That's a story right there.
