    Default Timed Carb Dieting

    Anyone have any experience using this approach?

    Its similar to the anabolic diet/CKD but with some additional carbs.

    Training days: high fat/protein + pwo carbs and pwo meal carb

    Non Training: No carbs lower cals high fat/protein

    Weekend: carb up

    why not just carb cycle then, for instance if u are 200 pounds do 3 days with 150g carbs (50g break fast,50g pre work out and 50g post work out
    _ 1 day of 250g carbs,2days of 150g carbs,1 day 50g carbs 1 day 250g carbs and a cheat/refeed meal. keep protein at 300g and fats at 80g through out.

    There's alot of info about this diet on ironaddicts.com. I've done keto and TCD before. I have to be completely honest i made the most steady progress with the least amount of cardio on a basic macros break down like (Ex) 225g pro, 100-200 carbs, 40-60g fats. I guess it was like carb cycling. I always stayed around the same amount of calories while keep protein constant. Even though i did less cardio a did mod-high intensty because i could eating carbs.

    TCD works good but if your gonna keep carbs in i would keep a decent amount in and go with a carb cycling approach.

    If you were gonna do TCD i would split the re-feed (carb up) into 2 different days instead of the whole weekend. I would do one day when i train back and the other leg days. It doesnt really matter but when i do re-feeds i like to do them on days i train lagging body parts. I feel you can improve on them while dieting because your most likely above your maintance on those days. I also like to keep carbs really low >100g on off days.

    I hate carb cycling, I do much better when I just cut off carbs.

    Ive been getting all the info from ironaddicts. Seems like hes suggesting you dont train on you carb ups. If I do it I'm only going to do one carb up day which will prob be sunday. from using dr dipasuales AD, Ive learned two days doesnt work.

    Main reason I want to do it is so I can continue to do HIIT cardio instead of just steady state and keep doing 5/3/1 without losing too much strength
