ALWAYS make sure your weights are racked.
That way you wont have the bar come down on your head on incline barbell press like I had happen last night... Good thing it was only 135, otherwise i prolly wouldnt be typing this. Deffinately reminded me to actually watch myself rack the weight lol.

haha i deffinately dont use thumbless grip. Im just too trusting that i racked the weight right when i put it back on the rack. apparently i caught the fat peice on the rack and it rolled back off and onto my head haha. Surprisingly didnt hurt that bad and i laughed about it I honestly felt so fucking lucky. could of been so much worst, wont make that mistake again. DONT TRUST GYM EQUIPMENT! lol.

Cont.Benching 101,dont use a thumbless grip.dont put your feet on the bench(you cant get max power/push)dont bounce the bar off your chest like your drilliong a hole(sorry Branch)get awide enough grip that you get afull strectch(shoulder blades should touch when the bar is down)if you dont bring it all the way to your chest(i dont bad shoulders) then widen your grip a bit ,lighten the wieght and work your way up over time and you will get a fuller biggeer chest.#1 check your ego at the door doing 15 sets of flat bench fo 1-2 reps aint gonna do shit for a BB!!!

Even more dangerous is the guys who use 2 sets of dumb bells for incline curls, and then forget and put their weight down RIGHT on top of the other set... OUCH!!! I actually know a story of a guy who lost half of their pinky finger putting down a set of 80's right on top of 75's they just used on the previous set!

and it's even more fun dumping weight when you're in a bench shirt.
glad I always had good spotters when training or I likely would've decapitated myself a few times.

I know its not the safest but I prefer thumbless, I just feel like it works a lot better for me.
