I don't necessarily always think it's an issue of bodybuilders being humble enough to hire a personal trainer. Instead, they may be more apt to do the research and trial/error themselves to come up with innovative training programs. Also, with all the bodybuilding forums out there, there's the opportunity to trade training ideas among one another rather than hire a personal trainer.

Good article John. Have any of you heard a rumor that in California(im not sure of any other states) that personal trainers will soon be required to hold a Bachelors degree in and exercise/nutrition field in addition to his/her certification? A buddy of mine told me this, and it is exciting because that means more $$ and more clients for those of us who fit these qualifications.
