go to intensemuscle.com and read the basics...to be honest with you its by far the best style of training i have ever used...every workout is crazy intense..i never leave the gym thinking..last weeks workout was harder, more intense...every workout gets more intense more brutal then the last...rest pausing, extreme stretching, widowmaker sets for quads...Im drug free and i put on about 9-10 pounds of pure muscle this past year doing dc blasts this past year...and my strength has gone through the roof

Shelby has a great physique and is no doubt very strong, but I struggle with why and/or how this type of training is beneficial. Not to mention why you would subject yourself to such a lovely neighborhood just to do single deadlifts and hang from a chin up bar. On a positive note, that is the first nautilus pullover machine I've seen in a Michigan gym in better than a decade. On a side note, did you see any "hot" tranny's in or around the gym? Just kidding.

I never really understood the concept of DC training until about a month ago. Needless to say, I love the style of training for a change. Very effective and quick workouts.

I think people think DC training is complex or on par difficulty wise as linear algebra. You just have one set to kill the muscle. Thats it. Dorian did a similar style and so have many others. I think the beauty of DC training is you take a huge variable out of the equation and that is one of over training. I've trained DC a couple of times with some guys who really know how to do it and I can tell you the deep soreness in the muscle groups the days following the training session lets you know if you really gave it your all.

I really dig the looks of that gym! dark stained wood walls, black equipment. Very cool.

The Highland Park Powerhouse is a great gym with nice equipment. The neighborhood on the other hand isnt the best but Ive never had a problem there.

Save these in your iTunes library. They're formatted for iphone/iTouch. Only Juan and Chancey are finished uploading as I type this.
