Typical bullshit.. one year of seroid use doesn't do fuck all!
Perhaps the thousands of grams of prtotein per day in the form of food and whey powder is what fucked him up.
As studies already show.. the more protein you eat, the harder your kidneys have to work. Whey is also SHIT for your kidneys!

Just had to pop on this thread and say, "be good to your kidneys!! " I only have one now, and I can still eat good amount of protien and do show prep, but you need to be careful! I dont think people realize how quickly they can fail, and you could need a transplant.

Exactly. Yes, continuous, extreme protein intake will most likely cause kidney problems. However, there are a few things that need to be made clear.
This guy is now 46. He said that he was first introduced to gear in college and he was "on" up until 2008 or 2009. That's 20+ years of AAS use/abuse under his belt.
Also, his face is redder than a tomato and he most likely has suffered from Stage I or Stage II Hypertension for quite some time. High Blood Pressure can ruin one's kidneys in the long run.
Also, although he looks huge and very strong in some of his pics, he appears to be carrying around a decent amount of body fat on him. Excessive body weight, especially as fat, doesn't make the job of the internal organs such as heart, kidneys, liver any easier.
Too many factors to blatantly say, AAS were the single cause of his kidney disease.

Although limited, research on AAS have provided a body of evidence that one of the adverse effects of AAS is hypertension.....which is one of the main risk factors for kidney failure.....so it does make sense....
As many of you mentioned combine that with the diet and lifestyle.....Kidneys can be under a lot of stress...

There are consequences to everything you do and don't do in life. Steroids are no exception. High blood pressure, hypertension, trenbolone, nubain, staying on, high protein diets, all this shit is a recipe for dialysis.

What would be classed as extreme protein intake (in grams)?
