I love dumbell shoulder presses....in fact I love dumbells and favour them over barbell when it comes to shoulder training!

Obviously, I think DB presses hit the medial head more than BB front presses too..

il say its an overall thickness builder, trying to isolate a muscle with a compound move defeats the purpose of doing it, if you isolate the front delt with presses, you may aswell do front raises. with pressing its all about heavy ass weight. your overthinking it.

I think barbell to the front is mainly front delt. Behind the neck mainly side delt. Dumbbell and neutral grip machines are a combo of both but a little more front delt. IMO

I think it hit the front more but it really works the entire delt area. Conventional wisdom has the barbell shoulder press as the best delt workout.
