Few things. I workout deals with local supermarkets and have been pretty successful with it over the last 10 or so years. I provide "free" education courses at the grocery store for shoppers on nutrition and what is good to eat. I bring my own people (that I sign up from various outlets and marketing) and also people who sign up through the grocery store (very few do this though) - I take them through and show them how to read the labels correctly - and explain the subtle differences in food that many Americans do not know.
The people, in turn, buy a whole bunch of food. For my payment on these fairs, I get a certain dollar amount of food from the grocery store in return, or a percentage off - depending on how much people purchased. My longest streak without having to actually PAY for food was 4 months. However, my food bill is always greatly reduced.
I got a similar thing from Costco - but I did the seminars for the people who worked there. I shopped there for a while (because I liked their chicken and fish) and I got question after question from the employees. I talked to the manger about working out a trade deal, and I went from there. It wasn't a HUGE savings... but considering Chicken was 3.29 a pound, getting 30% off was a nifty savings... and I try to save all I can... without living like a miser.
I have also become good friends with buyers at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. I can get the previous years fashions at over %50 off. I can get True Religion Jeans that cost $300 in the store for $110 - I can't wear them, but I can sell them on Ebay for $220 or so. For clothes i can wear, it's pretty cool. I know people think it is gay - but I like Affliction shit - So, an $80 top I can get for just over $30... I can get 3 of them - and sell the other two for $60 and pay for mine.
I don't know - I guess I'm just a hustler... I always have been.

TBS,
I have cut my own hair now for 2 years (since I was 22). I do a #1 buzz cut, so it is very easy. But I use to pay $20 every 2 weeks and it cost me $50 for the razor. So I have saved $990in 2 yrs by doing this. One of the best investments I have ever made.
I like your way of thinking TBS. Unlike most people, to me, being called cheap and a freak are compliments.

Thats what i was thinking, the write off alone , ie- food, travel, gym expenses would be great.
As for cutting my own hair to save money, i found a better way, i sleep with my hairstylist, that way i get a great haircut and get laid, and i always give her a big tip lolololConfucius say...

I was asked to pass on the following message to TBS: "The IRS apologizes for the delay due to the holiday, but they will begin your audit on Monday. Enjoy (and do not mock us again)."

That's fine. Audits are nothing. Just have to make sure you have all your receipts and documentation in order. Then, when they ask for something, take about 2 hours to find it in your files. Then, when they ask for something else, take another 2 hours to find it. It will be the last time they audit you... trust me.
