True. But see, IFBB pros are such genetic animals that I would put nothing past them. Especially Ben. If a human being can get arms that size, I wouldn't be suprised by any amount of weight he can lift.

They are genetic freaks for putting on a lot of muscle, that doesn't always mean that they can gain a ton of strength easily too. Andy Bolton is a genetic freak, and nobody can train the deadlift that same way he can, and he can't put 50lbs on his deadlift in 6 months.

Andy Bolton is a much more advanced lifter than ben in that regard though, hence slower gains. I dont think 50 lbs is that much for Ben at this point. my 750 prediction is also me assuming that i dont think 700 is quite his max. I very well may be wrong about that though.

To all the guys thinking he should have no problem pulling 800, you have to realize there is a HUGE difference between pulling 700 easy and pulling 800. I have no problem saying I am a pretty damn good deadlifter, and it took me 8 months to go from an easy raw 700 DL to a suited and strapped 800 deadlift with a hitch.....and it took another 3 months to pull 800 without a hitch, but that is with the addition of a suit. I did not pull 805 without a suit until a few weeks ago, which means it took almost 2 years to gain 100lbs on my max. Point being, Ben is a genetic freak but the numbers dont just keep coming out of nowhere, especially when most of his training is for bodybuilding not powerlifting.

Yes it's a lot of weight, but I saw an 18 year old pull 750 at a raw meet in December.
And what federation or "meet" is he doing that doesn't use the Olympic style plates?

The point I was trying to make is that the deadlift is an extremely taxing exercise, and therefore can't be trained as consistantly or as heavy all the time as most people think it could be. I mentioned Andy Bolton because he can handle constant heavy deadlift workouts without over taxing his CNS.
I saw a 19 year old pull 800, that was awesome. A lot of feds run meets that don't use kilo plates.High Rep is for pussies- SisterSteel

If I remember correctly they had deadlift suits at the Olympia. Not that they add a whole lot to most lifters but IF Ben can fix his form a little bit and IF he can get something out of a suit I can see him getting around 750 at the O. But 800 no way.
