The Dodgers are in free fall, & will still win their division. But that doesn't mean they will win a postseason series; right now, they couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat.
Meanwhile, the Tribe can't lose. Last year may have been a trial run for taking the big show, like the Royals in 2014.

The Angels hired Brad Ausmus for their front office. So long Detroit, won't see ya later.

Eric Hosmer is going to San Diego. I'm kind of glad he's off the Kansas City Royals team. He was a good player, but he took up all the air in any room he was in. I suspect the other players will breathe easier now.

The latest:
Ace pitcher Lance Lynn is going to the Twins. They cut Anibal Sanchez from the team.
Cy Young winner Jake Arrieta is going to the Phillies (3 years).
Catcher Jonathan Lucroy is going to the Athletics.
Royals OF Jorge Bonifacio is suspended 80 games for PEDS.
LHP Francisco Liriano made the Tigers' rotation.
The Cubs' Kyle Schwarber is coming in strong as an ox, but significantly lighter than last year.
Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia signed a minor league deal w/ the Tigers. He signed w/ that team in last year's spring training, but was released in April. He was signed by the Blue Jays for a minor league deal, but was released in late June. Gone are the glory days in Boston.

Farquhar was released from the hospital Monday of this week, & visited the White Sox clubhouse yesterday. He is out for this year, but his doctor is not ruling out his return to pitching.

My team (the Royals) is having an awful year, but the Tigers are having an even worse one. The Royals just whipped the Tigers' ass 10-2 in Detroit's stadium, which makes it hurt even more.

Aaron Boone (field manager of the NY Yankees) is asking for a mercy rule from MLB, wherein a team that is over 10 points behind can ask for a game to be stopped after the 5th inning, to avoid using position players as pitchers & possibly risking an injury to them.

Josh Hamilton was inducted into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame today. The video clips are nice.
