Bodybuilders that earn there PRO CARD yet dont compete for a year or 2 after??
some pros. centaponi, curry, liberatore.. some others.. i have no beef, but its bullshit, your practically wasting a PRO CARD... so to wait another year.. so instead of a new pro every year on the scene (from the contest that they got it) (from your country) its pretty much 1 every two years..

It would be "wasting" the pro card to jump into the mix looking like you did as an amateur. This game is about progress, and that's what you can make by taking a year off.

Only reason to jump right in there is if you're in the Phil Heath category, and can fuck people up right from the jump.

How are the wasting a pro card? Its a smart move, in bodybuilding you are only as good as your last show. If you hop on the stage to soon and flop people will right you off and say "oh man so and so wasn't as good as we all thought he is to small blah blah blah". Instead these guys take a year to really grow and be able to step on the pro stage and compete from the start.

I don't think it is wasting a pro card. Almost all new pros need some time to improve before they could do good in the pro ranks.

Yea wasting a pro card would be jumping in to soon and getting your name tossed in the back and making it nearly impossible to get big in the game. Look at AD Cherry

what was the name of that guy who turned pro forever ago, his nickname was 'the boilermaker'. he worked a full time job at some factory and still managed to turn pro.
i'd see him in some supplement ads up to around 4 years ago.
can't remember his name, some white guy.
now that was a waste of a pro card. he never competed in one ifbb show.

its wasting if you show up looking shit at everyshow
Just competing isnt the issue....Evan and Curry are taking the steps to be more competitve at a pro level.....then arent just jumping in competitions for the fuck of it
Plus prepping for comps is expensive and time consuming......might as well plan it right and go for some big prize money...then just constantly compete and come in off.
Evan and Curry look good, but we all know they wouldnt fare incredibly well on a pro stage looking how they looked how they looked when they got their cards....
