    Default Whats your blood pressure?

Just started up a cycle (1g cyp/wk, 400mg drol/wk, & humalog 3x/wk) and my blood pressure is prehypertensive around 135/85 and I've caught it a few times at 135/90. Off a cycle its nearly normal 120/80. Lately I've been drinking a ton of coffee and eating some crappy foods so I just started eating cleaner and cut out some of the carbs to help control fluid retention. Might have to take a baby aspirin per day during this cycle as well.

Depending upon your body weight 140/85 is not actually an issue...above that at any weight (assuming you are lean of course and not a diabetic) is very hard on your cardio/vascular system and if long term, the first step to kidney disease. Add excess uric acid, urea and nitrates form high protein waste and a few diuretics and you are on your way to stage 1 or higher kidney disease (Keep an eye on you GFR from you blood work and creatinine to stay a step ahead).

The simple solution to slightly elevated BP is increase/balance potassium to sodium ratio. The correct human ratio is about 7:2 (potassium to sodium) and stay well hydrated. If that fails low dose use of dandelion extract or root will normally do the job. Of course if you are using aromatizing compounds a little AI helps, but do not kill all of your estrogen off as you need some for growth and sex. Just a suggestion.

At the moment I'm 5'6" 220lbs offseason but not very out of shape.

I'm using 1mg of arimidex every other day or 3x/wk to help the fluid retention. I can tell I'm holding water as my wedding ring is hard to take off.

Can a simple blood or urine test measure your Glomerular filtration rate?If I am supplementing 3g of creatine per day will that screw up the results of a creatinine test?

My diet basically looks like this:
    - 1 cup egg whites. 3-4 whole eggs.
    - 1 sc whey isolate. 30-40g peanuts.
    - 400-500g cooked chicken. 2-3 cups mixed frozen veggies.
    - 1 sc whey isolate. 30-40g peanuts.
    - 400-500g cooked fish or beef. 2-3 cups greek salad (3-4 olives, 30-40g feta, & 1 tbsp oil).
    - 1 sc whey isolate. 30-40g peanuts.

I do a whole body workout 3x/wk just basic lifts and I'm starting to do some cardio just 15-20 minutes climbing stairs which is pretty hard on my aerobic ability so far.

Wow thanks for the info Mr. Rea.

Couldnt agree more on the orals afecting BP. Plus taking in some policosonal, niacin, garlic and omega-3 will make it easier too.

Typically 120's over 70's. I'll take it, considering EVERYONE else in my immediate family (mother, father, sister, brother) all have to take BP meds.

About 4 years ago my BP was 160/90 and the doctor put me on meds. I couldn't stand the feeling of them. I lost about 30lbs and started working out and got it down to 135/80 and stopped the meds.

I read about celery seed extract and how it helps HBP. With one of these a day my BP dropped to 110/60.

Fuck modern BP meds when you can take that instead.

90/60 on a regular. It got up to 123/80 or so and I felt unstable.

Right now it's 124/68 after three cups of coffee!
