Hey Chris did you hear back on the sleep apnea? I also got diagnosed with a thick left ventricle several years back. I had just started bodybuilding and was about to do my first show. I was all natural, had never touched a steroid, so it definitely is genetic, but heavy weight lifting, rapid fluctuations in weight and the ephedra I was taking aggrivated it and made it a problem. Lots of college and pro athletes drop dead from it each year. Needless to say I halted my goals of competing, took a year off the gym and now I just recreational bodybuild. Maybe do a natural show one day though.

Oh and for those few people who are trying to talk you into getting a 'second opinion' and to pull a Kris Dim, before you do, just remember what happened to Anthony D'Arezzo when he tried to make a come back and compete despite his cardiomyopathy.
