TRT at 21?
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has some in depth knowledge about Testosterone Replacement Therapy.
I have glandular gyno (from running a cycle of superdrol at 18 I'm 21 now..dumb I know) so my doc ran blood tests and it came back that my test levels are below normal and wants me to see an endocrinologist to get on a replacement.
Do you guys think touching that superdrol 3 years ago is still messing me up today I didn't run a PCT? A friend said that it wasn't needed. I have one testicle due to one never dropping when I was born, so I'm wondering if that is the cause or part of it..
I have no symptoms of low test though, I make good gains at the gym sex drive is great I'm energetic... It just doesn't add up.. Sucks though I dunno if this is gonna be a life long thing or what. Any input would be great. Maybe some ideas of questions I can ask this endocrinologist?

As long as you have the ability to recover properly/make solid gains in mass and strength, have good libido and no real medical complications steming from low testosterone, then I say that you stay away from the HRT for quite a while.
T levels, and them being "low" is subjective.

you probably are producing at a very low if at all rate with your still in pelvis testicle. i would think that is your root cause of low level. nothing to do with the PH. an endocrinologist will prob have an ultrasound done of your descended testicle and potentially a CT of your belly to see what the other looks like...

Thanks for the quick replies. The one that didn't descend apparently got reabsorbed by my body, I had an exploratory surgery when I was around 12 to see if they could find it/drop it down. So I dunno. What are the negatives to HRT at such a young age?
ironcrusher I think you may be right that I should just avoid it seeing as I have no problems other than the gyno. Probably just gonna save up to get it lopped off if the doc can get it covered under insurance.

tell him nipple itching, intermitent pain aesthetic depression. those are key words to beter insure your insurer will cover your surg.
no real negs, but many negs if you delay treatment.

Yeah that's what intially got me to the doc was the gyno. Told him it hurts alot fast growing etc etc.. we'll see what happens.
So I've done alot of reading on the boards and I'm thinking a Clomid, Aromisin would help to get my LH up and Estridiol down... But maybe it can't go up.. Thoughts?
I haven't been able to see the actual numbers from the test results just a voice mail that they're low and I need to go on replacement. I'm not sure what all should be checked.

they prob ran a test panel. LH, FSH, Free and total test...
your free is prob <400 which is really low for your age. some teens to early 20's can be as high as 1,200! my guess is that your LH and FSH will be normal'ish, but your remaining testicle is only capable of what you currently see. so your pituitary is prob normal too....

^ive been on for 2.5 months now, running 200mg of cypionate a week (doctors orders).
i use .5 mg adex EOD. my plan is to periodically come off completely with HCG/adex for a couple 6 week periods a year just to clean my system out and let my balls come back a bit. i will be talking to my doc about this soon next time i see him to see if he advises this.

So I have the blood test results I figured you guys might have some input
Free Testosterone: 8.6 range 9-30
Total Testosterone: 245 range 240-950
Estradiol: 17 range 0-55
LH: 3.4 range 1.4-7.7
I go to the endo tomorrow so we'll see what they want to do, but I'm hoping they want to give me something to up my LH to see if it'll fix the test levels.. Really don't want to go on replacement. What do you guys think?
