HCG Diet

Does anyone have experience with this diet? The calorie intake per day is only 500. What is the protocol?

Injection of hcg and 500 calories a day. It's a sham. Heavyiron posted a study that shows hcg does nothing for fat loss.

Dave mentioned in on Heavy muscle radio..he basically said it was complete bs. If you're eating only 500 calories per day of course you're going to loose weight.. it's optimal because not all of the weight you lose is going to be fat, i don't think it has much to do with anything else..SCAM diet.

Supposedly the HCG acts as a horomonal protectant to preserve lean body mass. There is very little science behind this, pioneered by Simeons and then picked up by Trudeau (I think was his name.) and popularized.

This just seems like a very bad idea. Should be called "The starvation diet, now featuring HcG!!!!"

The thing is about the HcG, it is suppose to be magic fairy dust or some shit when in survival mode and keep the mental focus. A good portion of being moody when on a calorie deficit is hormonal based, supposedly that is one of the things the Hcg is suppose to help


people will try anything before hard work. Including some bodybuilders
