    I hate having a training partner. They just annoy me. I did like having GM around training though. It wasn't like having a training partner, it was more like having someone training near you who was always available for the situations you need a spotter. A good spotter is soooo hard to find most people don't have a clue how to spot.

    I like working out alone but occasionally wish there was someone I could grab and spot me for doing things like going to failure with negatives. I'm determined to figure out the engineering to make a hammer strength type of machine that switches to negatives so you don't need someone to help you with the positive portion.

    I use to solely rely on training partners thinking that my workouts would not be a effective. Now, I prefer training alone as I can maintain a consistent pace between exercises. I actually had to change my workout time to avoid a guy who would come over when he saw me and would talk non-stop about how bodybuilding was in the 70's and on and on...but thats another topic. Overall I have been training alone for nearly 2 years and prefer it.

    I train alone and love it that way. I get very impatient when waiting for someone to do their set or stop talking and workout.

    i know alotta people been hurt bad cuz of bad spotters
    if you are really training hard & heavy pushing the envelope
    YOU HAVETA HAVE A SPOTTER YOU KNOW & TRUST
    or theres no way you will risk going that hard
    you'll never get to that level on your own
