Ive had a few training partners that were priceless. But lately my workouts are so varied in time and sometimes i have no idea what im training til i get there. Like today was Hammys and Calves but i ended up doing back. So its really hard to have a training partner i may train at 2pm or 630pm so my schedule usually dont work for everyone.
Funny how when LEG day comes how your supposed "Partner" has all kind of excuses as to why he aint coming.

I train by myself. I think if I had a training partner, all I'm doing is raising my ego, I rather have a female bodybuilder for a training partner than a male bodybuilder simply because I'm about form and technique than lifting ego weights which male training partners tend to have these days.

I hate other men and I wouldn't be able to train with a woman around unless she was fucking nasty and had worms coming out of her nose so I train alone at the house.
Only problem is spotting on bench, squat and front squat, when I move to a new weight, if I fail, I tilt the bar to the right on the bench, drop all the weights, same thing other side, for squats/front, I drop the weight and run out the way dangerous but fuck it, gotta make it work someway.

A perfect scenario for me would be to train with a pro or seasoned veteran(to learn and for motivation). Have a on call highly trained spotter who knows how to spot right and wont get you hurt/killed.

I also prefer training alone without a training partner, apart from self discipline and dedication that it cultivates I easily get irritated, sometimes I don't like talking to people while I'm working out, to wait for someone to finish his set before I can do another one (coz that's what training parteners are for), lastly someone watching me while I train. The last one I cannot avoid it, but if I have a training partner it adds a burden, upon me. I can't be comfortable because, I'm still struggling to stimulate my muscles to grow by all means necessary. and the guy next to me, is just adding as many plates to the bar as possible, not to stimulate muscle growth, but proving a point or something.

not really heavy....3 sets legg extensons 25 rep w/ 3 sets legg curls to get the blood going...i like front squats smith machine 3 sets at 315 or so...adductures....stiff leggs for 3 sets up to 315...and lunges tell i give out...then i hit either legg curls standing or extensions again for 7x7...and i'm fried.....my quads are good so i work the hams a bit more....

My training partner sometimes says during the workout, "oh man.... can you be asked today" i tell him to shut the hell an train or go home! He really wants to train with me but, don't have the dedication.
He's also a lot weaker, so it's a pain in the arse having to take all the weight off and then put it back on every set.
He's also a terrible spotter, pulling way to hard or not nearly enough & pulling back instead of up which really fucks up my shoulders.
When he counts my reps he does it in a low lazy voice which just makes me wanna give up.
He uses terrible form on exercises and i have to constantly keep correcting and teaching him, over & over again he never fucking learns even though i been training with him 9 months.
Had to get this off my chest.

He is my best friend, lives right next to me... Despite what i say above, i find it usefull to have a spotter i just need to keep showing how.
