Growing INTO my show

Ok so here's my dilemma...

I have always been a smaller guy, and my coach has told me I need to grow INTO my show (it's in NOV, so about 28 weeks out).

Starting weight: 152
Current weight: 166
Goal Weight (>12 weeks): 175-180
Goal Compete Weight (What I'll diet down too): Either a (heavy) Lightweight or a (light) Middleweight
·Lightweight -Over 143 ¼ lb. up to 154 ¼ lb
·Middleweight -Over 154 ¼ lb. up to 176 ¼ lb.

So the question becomes, is this feasible, when I have to "grow" into my show?

I'd appreciate anyone's feedback, stories or thoughts.

If you are very lean to start- yes. Arnold, Franco and Frank Zane all used to do this back in the day..

You need to be pretty lean to do this like said above^. just make sure you give yourself enough time to diet down as you get closer to the show.

when i started this adventure/journey I was very very lean, I'm talking 143 at about 6.4%. ALL cardio barely any lifting, I don't know if that helps any.

These pics are from the last week of March. I am taking some new ones tomorrow night. I am 161 in these pics, don't know BF%.

my coach is Evian Hanshaw. She works with mostly with females, but I convinced her to let me be her experiment. She is awesome and has opened me up to so many things.

Yeah I'd say its possible, but its not easy. To grow into your show though I think your going to really focus on your diet. You should look into getting massive amounts of BCAA's and have them between meals, during and after training. In addition i'd recommend a high amounts of glutamine when you get up with breakfast, and arginine before bed to help with your natural production of gh. Also is your show a natural one?
