Who watched WEC last night?
The BF and I decided against ordering the card, but we did watch prelims on Spike. Did you guys agree with the split decision win for Garcia over Chan Sung Jung?? It was an all out battle for 3 rounds and I thought Garcia was done multiple times, but the dude deserves credit. He took a friggin' beating, yet he came out on top. Good for him, but still... I'm torn on if he deserved it or not. He was swinging alot and missing pretty often, broke his hand, his face was busted up and yet two of the judges gave him the win.

I didn't buy the card either but watched the prelims like you did. It could have went either way but I had the Korean Zombie taking the fight...you can tell he was disappointed when it didn't go his way. A lot of upsets recently in the UFC, Strikeforce, and WEC. On this one Brown got ko'd by Manny which I totally didn't expect. I didn't expect Cowboy to get submitted either but that's fighting always unpredictable.

I heard Brown had some personal issues that caused him to miss a couple weeks of training and that he had a difficult time preparing for this one.

I watch the entire thing including PPV. Awesome fights. Much better $ than UFC 112, which completely sucked ass.
I watched the Garcia vs Sung Jung fight a second time (they showed it again following Aldo and Faber) and kept score the second time.
The first time I watched it, I was FLOORED that Garcia got the win. Couldn't believe it.
But, if you go and count points, and add up the scores, Garcia did score more points in round 2 and 3 than Sung Jung.
I had Sung Jung for Round 1, and Garcia for rounds 2 and 3 strictly on points scored.
In a battle weighing who got the bigger beating, Garcia got his ass whooped.
In a score driven fight, Garcia actually won, unfortunately. Sung Jung deserved to win, but the scores don't reflect it. IMO anyways.

I guess I was confused because it seemed to me that Garcia was swinging and missing alot too. I thought for sure he was done in round 1... great 3-round battle though!
