I've done the same travel route a couple of times from Australia. PM me if you have any particular questions.........looks like you've got it pretty well covered!

As stated when in Vegas, train at Gold's. The Flamingo one is the most hardcore. Jay trains at the one in Summerlin. Good luck trying to figure out when though.
What kind of places you looking to eat at? High end, cheap, buffets?CutlerAthletics.com

Pig....do they still have that roped off area in the back of the Flamingo gym with the cardron of chalk, 100# wheels and 200# dumbells??
The Mecca is still OK. Most L.A. gyms have been on a downhill spiral since the early 90s. Its now a Soccer and MMA town. Demographics. Would love to visit Bevs place next trip into the Apple.

5th Ave Gym Brooklyn
Your certainly welcome @ 5th ave gym in Brooklyn..corner of 5th ave and 15th st in Park Slope Brooklyn. Its an old hardcore basement gym. Many champions have trained at 5th and some still currently train there. The Daily pass is 5$. Not alot of treadmills and bikes..just alot of old iron.
Just down the street from 5th Ave gym is a restaurant called Fuel where you can get bodybuilding meals. If you are in the city be sure to stop by Eva's @ 11 W 8th Street in the Greenwich Village. The food there is decent ( basically a bodybuilding menu)
Have a safe trip.

so do you only want a bodybuilding vacation or a normal one? i know of a million amazing places to eat in LA but they are not bodybuilding joints like the firehouse, they are actual restaurants that are pretty fucking amazing but on the pricey side, same goes for vegas, there are a million things i can recommend none of them have anything to do with lifting weights.

Well it's not really roped off, but we call it the power room. Still have all the heavy ass weights too.
Although IMO they are letting that gym go to shit. Instead of fixing things, they get rid of them. And amongst the local Gold's member, that is considered the dirtiest one of all. And I agree, but don't really care.CutlerAthletics.com
