He already said in his MD article that he wont do an open show this year. He's been 'advised' to stay in the 202....for now.
Dont they 202 guys weigh in depleted etc? I think its wrong. They should be 202 when they win. Also 210 seems a better weight as a few of these 202 guys have no room to progress in that division now (correa & raymond for example)

I don't think very many amateur or pro are in the weight class they compete in after they win. I know from my days of wrestling weigh ins I wouldn't be in my class by the end of the tournament.
I wish him the best as I do all other competitors in this event. I just hope that if he truly gets up to 265lbs in the off season, he leans towards the open next year.

at first it was cool but now it just seems he is scared to duke it out with the big boys. after all he spent years as a bottom feeder.
