The heavyweight looked great, but the Super Heavyweight doesn't look nearly as impressive. Maybe it's the photos, but nevertheless the heavyweight takes the cake.

Agreed, he needs at least 30 pounds more muscle on his frame.

Hey Shelby, did Matt´s training change a lot for bodybuilding? Did you help him? I´m sure your help will be needed in order to bring weak bodyparts, a powerlifter knows how to pack on the mass with heavy training but when genetics it´s not on their side and they need special stuff aka getting weird with tempo and exercise selection they can realy use a bodybuilder´s help

Yah I worked with him on some training stuff but it's hard to make big changes in a hypocaloric environment.
We'll be collaborating this offseason though, so expect big changes next time he competes (2011).

Matt looked extremely good, and for his first show to win it, thats outstanding...

It would be a great idea to have Matt and Shelby in the radio show to talk about all the process to his first bodybuilding win.

True; both came in great shape, but like you said the Super heavy needs 30 more pounds. Nevertheless, they both looked very conditioned, congratulations.
