I had a VERY similar thing UNTIL I found out it was too much salt causing elevated blood pressure. On KETO you have to eat a ton of eggs, and I was using too much salt (for me!) simply salting/peppering or preparing various dishes. You might want to try it for two weeks, replace regular salt with "No Salt", it's a potassium salt substitute located in the salt section of your supermarket. Beats my headaches... I couldn't take the pain!

    carbs to lower = headache

diet was pretty much the same as the one before but all carbs were replaced by veggies and all fruit was cut out completely and my lunch was different.

    Meal 1: 3 whole eggs & 3 whites
    1 cup spinach

Meal 2: 1 cup cottage cheese

    Meal 3: 2 cans tuna
    2 cups mixed greens salad
2 tbsp fat free balsam vin

Meal 4: protein bar or shake

    Meal 5: pre wo shake

    Meal 6: post wo shake

    Meal 7: 8oz chicken breast
    1 cup brocolli
    2 cup spinach salad
1 tbsp fat free balsam vin

Meal 8: 1 cup cottage cheese right before bed.

i really want to try it again and am thinking i might just add some oats in my breakfast so i can kick up my metabolism and hopefully avoid headaches.

I wouldn't call that a no carb diet...You ever add up the macros from that?

This is a very blanket statement, have heard it before, but doubt it's validity. I have personally exceeded this for some lengthy times in my life. I actually have a friend that has consumed 6-8 cans a day for over a year now and counting...

Statements like that I think stem from things like an RDA recommendation saying 50g of protein is enough.

Unless someone has some pre-disposed exposure or problem, then I have to doubt more then 3 cans per week is going to cause any negatives.

    Could be wrong

Exactly. I have no mercury problems and as i child i ate tuna daily. Now I just eat the big can! Mercury is an "issue" now because people realize they have been eating it through tainted fish. The truth is as long as we eat predatory fish in large amounts we eat whatever they have already eaten.

I never meant that mercuy poisoning was the cause of it, just saying he should reevaluate his diet. I learned in my nutrition class about tuna having high chance of mercury poison. Google Jeremy Piven and Mercury.... he was eating too much tuna sushi and had to be pulled of broadway. It happens whether your brologic says so or not. Preach as you will, but I am just giving the guy some info that he may have not heard yet.
