agreed it's not a true NO carb diet, but i meant no direct sources such as bread, yams, etc. it's the closes ive come to a no carb diet as i started having headaches before i was able to cut the rest of the carbs out.

No, Tuna can give you mercury poison. You shouldn't eat more than 3 cans a week....

i have read serveral articles stating that white ablacore tuna is the best to eat as it is much less likely to have any mercury levels high enough to pose a threat because of the ways it is usually caught and the waters it comes from. thats the only kind i eat

According to the webmd article, albacore is more dangerous than tuna....but I had always been taught that tuna was worse. I stick with salmon, cod and swordfish for my fish meals to try to limit mercury toxicity

I had headaches transitioning from carbs to Keto level of carbs. But after a few days they went away.

I read what you wrote as you were blaming the tuna for his headaches. I took it wrong.

Yes there is some evidence behind what you are saying, I just said I think it is blown out of proportion.

and to the above, 1, maybe 2 symptoms match, out of 31....I see that as more of a coincidence.
