They should make a cinematic movie of this, i would definetly buy it!

JOJ being the former champion that broke his back or something, helping out the new kid on the block (Ben) that never have met his father in his entire life and therefore needs a supporting father-figure (JOJ).

Stan can be the reigning champion that broke JOJ's back, he's evil incarnated.

Oh, btw, Stan is a commie that wears an eye patch since his eye got crushed during bench-pressing.

In the final showdown JOJ transfer his strength-energy to Ben so that he defeats Stan, although JOJ becomes a little boy (who's back is perfectly fine) after transfering the energy to Ben. From that day Ben has to raise JOJ in order to have a opponent of equal skill.

SPOILER!!! IN THE END OF THE MOVIE IT'S BEING REVEALED THAT JOJ WAS BEN'S FATHER BUT AVOIDED HIM IN ORDER FOR BEN TO NOT FOLLOWING IN HIS FATHER'S FOOTSTEPS AND GETTING HIS BACK BROKE BY THE ALMIGHTY STAN. THEREFORE IT'S QUITE IRONICAL THAT BEN HAS TO RAISE HIS OWN FATHER, WHILE JOJ NEVER RAISED BEN AS A BOY

I dunno, either i will pitch the idea to someone that knows how to make epic movies (im thinking Peter Jackson or Michael Bay) Although that shit would problably feature tons of explosions and hot love-interests that only have a role in the movie because of their looks, not ther acting-skills

Or i will make it as crappy and cheesy as possible and hire Stephen Chow as a director. Although he's the one with cash, he would problably claim the rights to it and name it Flash Strike or something and only feature skinny asian guys. And then he will change the names of the characters from Johnnie to Jackie and Ben to Benny. Stan will be Tatsumatso, evoool samuraa mastaaaa.

It will also feature some spiritual shit, strength will be called will and the benchpress and the deadlift will have a "the art of the" in front of them

am i the only one that thinks its kinda pointless to care about who the strongest bodybuilder is? I mean, either you are a bodybuilder or a powerlifter. I've never been to a show where the judges ask you to do a quarter turn then ask who benches the most lol and not to mention, very few of the "strongest" bodybuilders are actually even relivent in the bodybuilding comps that they compete in, that goes especially for Johnnie. No hate, just sayn.

    Bodybuilders train with weights.

Myofibrillar hypertrophy is an adaptation which increases force production capacity. In other words, taking neural acclimation out of the equation, a stronger muscle is a bigger muscle. Bodybuilders should thus strive to lift heavier weights in order to maximize size (this can mean a greater load for any given number of reps).

Strength does mean something to bodybuilding. There is a high association.

In addition, who wants to be a big pussy? If I am a lean 250+ lbs I had better be able to lift a shitload of weight.

    THAT is the point.

If you had a choice of being 250+ and lean, but having a deadlift 1rm of 500, or 200 and lean with the same max, what would you take? I'd take the 200 pounder

1000$ says Andy Haman for some reason wont show up and just bench (keep im mind he said it was legit and repped with 600 for an easy 4 LOL with a 10yr old kid as a spotter) thats means he would crush stan right away and grab an Easy 2500$.

I wonder what excuse he will make.

true, but liftin for a max or just 2-3 reps if you're a bber is way too risky imo. if you're going heavy for 8-10 reps with good form and still moving weight well great, but going all out and risking an injury for the sake of a 1 rep max is very stupid for someone that is competiting in bodybuilding. having a tremendous 1 rep max isnt going to change your physique.

i find going for a 3 rep max safer than going for a 10 rep max, the muscles get too fatigued form breaks down, especially in deadlifts and squats. wether 1 rep max, or 10 reps, the last rep is just as hard if your going to faliure.
