Guys get pushed up to the national shows too soon. Even Sting got sent back down from WCW to work on his craft for a while. Now, there is at least Florida Championship wrestling (the only WWE farm team left) and I see several guys going up and down (like Drew McIntyre, who I like a lot). So, it's possible to go up in a hurry but don't be surprised to get sent back to school a time or two before you stick.

Hey everyone!
Ive been wrestling for 10 years now. I broke in in January 00 in the Chicagoland area. I was fortunate enough to get trained by someone who had a consistent training camp, ran regular shows, and had a lot of hookups with other promotions in the general area. Ive gotten to travel all over the country and work with some really good people. Wish I could say its going as good now as it was then, but one knee surgery 3 yrs ago and needing another one now, gotta take it easy lol.

I am currently training at this very moment. I am in Chicago. The Midwest is a hot bed of Professional Wrestling; always has been. This will be my second week. We only train Saturdays and Sundays. My back and shoulder are still sore; loving it though. I thought I was in cardio shape; hell no!! I ran the ropes for the first time last Saturday and nearly died after the 18th one. The one mve I am having problems hitting correctly is the back bump; I will get it though.
NightHawk, how did you develop your persona/character?
BBlaze who did you wrestle for?

I wrestle for Micky Whipwreck's company NYWC In Deer Park, NY.. Great company, Current WWE Wrestlers: Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, and Trent Baretta all started there! They all stop by and help out every once in awhile.. Also Matt Striker worked for us. If you live in the area and want the best training from former FCW trainer Pat Buck, your not gonna find much better then NYWC.

I would not want to be a wrestler myself, but that's just me.
